Phil plays in winning Senior Blues team
Phil Westcott was selected to play for New South Wales Senior Blues played over three days from August 5 to 7 at St John's Park Bowling Club.
The inaugural event was keenly contested between New South Wales and Victoria with the seniors giving a great exhibition of top class bowling.
After being locked up after the first two tests (Blues 57 Victoria 49 then Blues 43 Victoria 59) the third test was the decider.
The Blues came out strongly and dominated the tie breaker eventually winning 72-52.
Phil Westcott played solidly for the Blues.
"I am proud to have represented Ettalong Bowling Club and New South Wales in this prestigious event," he said.
