Heidi wins gold in karate world cup
Nine-year-old St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School student Heidi Higson has won gold in her division of the GKR Karate World Cup.
The Karate World Cup was held at Olympic Park Sydney over the weekend of August 10 and 11.
An Ettalong resident, Heidi won her medal in the 8-9 years kumite division for third kyu and above, a combined male and female division.
