David wins medal for fighting fires overseas
The Bays Rural Fire Brigade's senior deputy captain Mr David Taylor has been recognised for his service fighting fires overseas in 2017.
Mr Taylor has received a Humanitarian Overseas Medal for fighting wildfires in British Columbia, Canada.
He was part of a Remote Area Firefighting group, which undertook a six-week operation within Kluskus Lakes and the Rocky Mountains within British Columbia.
