Parents' group seek members after stall is cancelled
The Parents' and Citizens' Association at Woy Woy Public School is calling for people to consider joining the association after it had to cancel its annual Father's Day stall last week.
"Due to the small numbers of members and their availability during this week, the very difficult decision has been made to not hold in-person stalls this year," a social media post from the association said.
"This decision was not made lightly.
"The executive is very sorry it has come to this, but without people from the association onsite it cannot go ahead, regardless of how many non-members volunteer.
"We encourage all members of our community to consider joining."
