'Cross-generational' gaming model workshop
A one-day workshop later this month about painting miniature tabletop gaming models is being promoted as "a cross-generational event".
The event will be held at Woy Woy library on Wednesday, September 27, from 10:30am to 3:30pm as a school holiday activity.
"Adults and children are encouraged to attend together."
Family tickets covering one adult and one young person older than 12 will cost $10.50.
Youth tickets will cost $7.50 and will be available to a young person attending independently or with a non-participating adult.
With a theme of Paints of War, the workshop offers "methods and techniques used to paint miniature tabletop gaming models and to create scenery to display them or use in your own games".
All materials provided.
There will be an unsupervised break from 12:30pm to 1:30pm to allow models to dry.
Places are limited and bookings are essential.
With inquiries, phone 4350 1578, 4350 5333 or 4325 8942.
