Aged care facility accredited for another three years
A Umina aged care facility has received re-accreditation for three years.
"Accreditation is a rigorous process that assesses our organisation against a set of national standards," said Peninsula Villages chief executive Mr Colin Osborne.
"It ensures that we are providing high-quality care and meeting the needs of our residents.
"In February, Peninsula Villages underwent a site audit by a team of five assessors who were here for five days.
"The site audit involves interviews with our residents, their loved ones, staff and management as well as reviewing our systems and processes.
"We're very pleased to announce that we have received the maximum term of three years reaccreditation.
"In all areas of care and service provision that is measured by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, we have been found to be compliant against best practice standards.
"This accreditation is a testament to our commitment to providing the best possible care for our residents.
"Peninsula Villages is committed to continuous improvement and over the next three years will continue to review our systems and processes to ensure we continue to provide a high quality service."
