Top student featured in college social media
A Year 11 student at Brisbane Water Secondary College, who strives to be in the top one per cent in everything she does, has been featured on the school's social media page.
Olivia Petersen was described as "a true academic powerhouse, ranking first for every Year 10 course last year".
"She attended Empire Bay Public School.
"Olivia was school captain at BWSC Umina and is currently the elected SRC president at BWSC Woy Woy.
"She was also selected from a few student across Australia to attend the National Civics and Citizenship Parliamentary Leadership Program last year ??
"She loves physics and enjoys applying maths to real-world situations.
"She has her sights set high and is aiming to study civil engineering at either UTS or USyd.
"Obtaining a PhD is a current consideration.
"Outside of school, Olivia enjoys hitting the gym, reading, and soaking up the beauty of sunrise and sunsets.
"She loves the beach, swimming, and has big plans to travel the world.
"Olivia follows her own path, rolls with the punches, and is a firm believer in flipping every situation to her advantage."
