Patonga car fire false alarm
The Pearl Beach Rural Fire Service brigade has attended a reported car fire at Patonga at 8:45am on Wednesday, April 5.
The brigade was called in support of Patonga Volunteer Rural Bush Fire Brigade.
Crews investigated the reported area.
They found a vehicle which, according to the owner, had produced some smoke when it was used earlier in the day, but there was no sign of fire.
After confirming that the vehicle posed no further risk, the volunteer firefighters returned to the station and stood down.
