Crowd-funding for teacher diagnosed with cancer

Woy Woy South Public School has started a crowd-funding page to help one of its teachers who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

"Ms Niamh Minogue, Woy Woy South's much loved French and Release from Face to Face teacher, has experienced the devastating diagnosis of breast cancer recently," said principal Mr Matt Barr.

"She has undergone rapid and extensive surgery along with intensive treatment.

"There will be a long period of treatment and recovery ahead.

"This has not only impacted her physical and emotional heath but has also had massive financial repercussions.

"Niamh does not have access to sick pay.

"We, as her community, are trying to help alleviate some of this burden and have created a Gofundme page.

"Please read, share and if you are willing and able, donate to help this amazing human during this painful time."
