Men of League hold annual bowls day
The annual Central Coast Men of League Bowls Day was held at Ettalong Bowling Club with more than 48 teams competing on Monday, May 31.
The day raised money for the organisation's national wellbeing program which supports the men, women and children of the rugby league community who are in need.
Three of the bowls links were a sea of different colours, shapes, ages and sizes as the competition got into full swing.
"Cold beers, good food and great company was the order of the day as everyone made their way into the clubhouse for the afternoons raffles and entertainment," said publicity officer Mr Gregg Kable.
"We were greeted and welcomed by Trevor Andrews who gave us a run-down of the day and the afternoons agenda.
"Former NRL legends Mr Neville Glover and Mr Terry Reagan turned back the clock on some very funny rugby league anecdotes."
The day was organised by Central Coast Men of League president Mr Eddie Johnson, treasurer Mr Lance Henry, Master of Ceremonies Mr Trevor Andrews and Mr Jock Morris.
