Casuarinas planted at arboretum
A working bee was held at Pearl Beach Arboretum on June 5 for World Environment Day.
Casuarina torulosa trees were planted out by Pearl Beach Bushcare and the newly formed Pearl Beach Environment Group.
The trees are food trees for glossy black cockatoos and a koala habitat tree.
The trees were funded by the Arboretum Community Environment Grant.
Mr Andrew Stanger was there to install a black cockatoo nesting box.
