Made for memory support unit
Residents, volunteers and staff at a local aged care home have been making equipment for use in its memory support units.
Residents and staff of Pam Palmer House at Peninsula Village have been making a fiddle mat.
The mat will be used for residents with dementia in the memory support units in Don Leggett House.
The project was run by a volunteer who is the mother of one of the Village's wellbeing team, with the encouragement of the Village's wellbeing coordinator.
