Umina Beach Men's Bowling Club held its annual Ron Pursehouse Prostate Cancer Charity Day on Wednesday, June 25.

Member Ian Jarratt "masterminded" the event, according to club secretary Mr Peter Springett.

Members and businesses donated prizes.

Merrylands RSL and Club Umina donated a popular week's holiday at Forster, which was won by Sandra and Martin O'Mally.

Sets of fresh water pearls were won by Geoff Godwin and by Steve Moss.

The Herkimer Diamond 60cm necklet and bracelet were won by Gary Yates.

Gwen Jarratt, Joan Murphy and Kerry Yates managed the raffle and sold tickets.

Local real estate agent Damien McPherson ran the auction.

The 100 Club, Lemons and the Fishos groups all made donations.
