Country club offers specialised golfing wheelchair
The Everglades Country Club will offer its members a "Paragolfer", an all-terrain, motorised wheelchair designed to help people with physical disabilities play golf.
"Its standout feature is a standing function that supports users in an upright position, allowing a more natural golf swing," said Country Club general manager Mr Ross Seabrook.
"It's stable on grass and slopes, making golf courses accessible while promoting independence and inclusion in the sport.
"We're excited to offer the Paragolfer to our golf members on the first Tuesday of every month starting on August 5."
