How well are we doing?
The Peninsula community has a population of the average council area in NSW: 40,000 people.
We believe a community of this size benefits from its own local newspaper as a source of reliable information, to foster community participation and to help hold public institutions accountable.
Peninsula News aims to serve as a single, trusted comprehensive local news source for our community with coverage that has depth and journalistic rigour.
How well do we do this? How can we improve, given our limited resources?
Readers will have the opportunity to discuss this and put forward their ideas at a meeting at 1pm on Wednesday, July 16, in the Spike Milligan Room at Woy Woy Library.
Editor Mark Snell will facilitate the meeting and speak about some possible changes.
A discussion paper is available for people who may be interested in thinking about some of the issues before attending the meeting.
