Single vehicle accident closes Patonga Dr
An accident on Patonga Dr in the early hours of Wednesday, June 25, closed the road for an hour and took more than two hours to be cleared.
Pearl Beach Rural Fire Service Brigade and Patonga Volunteer Rural Bush Fire Brigade were dispatched to a motor vehicle incident on Patonga Dr at 2:15am.
They arrived to find a single vehicle with "significant damage".
NSW Ambulance crews treated the casualty, while fire brigade volunteers worked to clear the road and secure the scene, preventing any further incidents.
Local tow truck drivers and NSW Police also attended.
The Pearl Beach crew removed trees from the road by chainsaw.
By 3:15am, the roadway had been partially cleared, allowing vehicles to pass under direction.
At 4:30am, it was reported that the vehicle had been removed and the roadway cleared.
