Compulsory acquisition mooted for intersection upgrade
Central Coast Council will discuss the compulsory acquisition of land at the corner of Ocean Beach Rd and Rawson Rd, Woy Woy, behind closed doors at its meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, July 23.
The land would be purchased for the upgrade of the intersection at the corner.
The $33 million upgrade has been funded by a "Central Coast Roads Package" from the Federal Government.
The acquisition will be discussed in "closed session" because the matter "contains commercial information of a confidential nature that would, if disclosed prejudice the commercial position of the person who supplied it and because consideration of the matter in open Council would on balance be contrary to the public interest."
