Health district seeks board members
Central Coast Local Health District is seeking expressions of interest for positions on its board.
"Board members play a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction and accountability for managing our public health service," said board chair Mr Paul Tonkin, a Woy Woy lawyer.
The Central Coast board consists of six to 13 members, appointed by the Minister for Health.
"The selection criteria seek to ensure board members have an appropriate mix of skills, experience and expertise to oversee and provide guidance to large and complex organisations," Mr Tonkin said.
"Individuals should demonstrate the capacity to represent the interest of consumers of health services and the local community, and indicate any affiliations with universities, clinical schools or research centres, as well as skills and experience."
Further information is available on the NSW Health website.
