Swimmers break school records
Eight swimmers broke school records at the Brisbane Water Secondary College Umina campus swimming carnival held at the Peninsula Leisure Centre.
All records were set in Division A freestyle.
In 200 metres, records were set by Lachlan Muldrock (Davis House) with 2:45.76 in Boys 12 competition; Lucy Marshall (Davis) 2:35.43 in Girls 13; Caleb De Vivo (Booker) 3:00.24 in Boys 13; William Slater (Webb) 2:16.58 in Boys 14; Riley Mowbray (Davis) 3:09.42 in Boys 16; and Kiara Jack (Crommelin) 2:50.94 in Girls 17+.
Jacob Falconer (Crommelin) broke records in the Boys 14 100 metres and 50 metres with times of 1:01.66 and 27.79 respectively.
Webb House came first overall in the carnival, Crommelin second, Davis third and Booker fourth.
