Two vessels rescued
Volunteers at Marine Rescue Central Coast rescued two vessels from Paddy's Channel on Sunday, October 23.
The first call came from five people aboard a 6.5 metre Southwind runabout who sought assistance due to mechanical failure.
The duty boat crew towed the runabout from Paddy's Channel to Restella Wharf in Davistown.
The base received a call at 3pm from a 4.8 metre Quintrex runabout, also in Paddy's
Channel, this time with a flat battery.
Gosford 10 again responded and the crew assisted with a jump start to get the motor started.
The two incidents followed a boating safety briefing given by the volunteers on Saturday, October 22.
