Touch players wanted
The Peninsula Touch Association is seeking men and women of all ages for its upcoming summer touch football competition on the Peninsula.
The association will hold registration days on Wednesdays from October 26 until November 2 from 6pm to 7pm at McEvoy Oval, Umina.
Peninsula Touch Association president Mr Rod Dillon said the association was keen to increase the number of females participating in the local competition.
He is encouraging females aged 14 and over to experience the sport of touch football.
"Touch is a great sport for people of all ages.
"It is fun, a great way to keep fit, and now that we have re-established our women's competition we are keen to see it grow even further.
"We also have men's and mixed teams able to enter in divisions from first through to fifth division, so there's a competition level for everyone," he said.
Peninsula Touch holds competition games on Wednesday nights with games starting from 6pm.
