Big fish thrown back

Bill Matthews of Woy Woy has reported finding a 4.5kg flathead with a Jonah bream in its mouth on the sand at Woy Woy on Friday, October 14.

"The fish was found high and dry near the leaning tree at Woy Woy," said Mr Matthews.

"A Parks Bay resident at first thought it was a crocodile.

"It was a bit on the nose and too smelly to fillet, so it was thrown back to the crabs.
