Man charged after fatal crash

A 23-year-old man has been charged following a fatal single car crash near Pearl Beach on December 5.

According to police, the man attended Gosford Police Station on December 15, where he was arrested and charged with dangerous driving occasioning death, fail to stop and assist after vehicle impact causing death, negligent driving (occasioning death) and drive conveyance taken without consent of owner.

He was refused bail and appeared at Gosford Local Court on December 16.

The male passenger, who was killed in the December 5 crash, was finally identified as an 18-year-old Toukley man.
