Performing arts

Ettalong Public School held a performing arts tuition session on Wednesday, February 18, for students interested in participating in musical activities.

The auditions were held for students from Year 3 to 6 who were interested in joining the school band or guitar ensemble and also for students from Year 1 to 6 interested in obtaining keyboard lessons.

School bands rehearsals are held during school times and also after school on Wednesday, guitar lessons are held during and after school on Tuesday and keyboard lessons are held both before school and lunchtime on Monday and from lunchtime onward on Tuesday.

Mrs Morrow and the respective music tutors were present at the meeting and existing members of band, guitar and keyboard groups were not required to attend.
