Courtesy speed checks planned

Ettalong, Umina and Woy Woy will be included in courtesy speed checks Gosford council as part of a one month campaign "XC Ding The Speed Limit" which will run during March.

The project will be run in conjunction with 11 other councils in the Central Coast and Hunter region, and aims to "reinforce the importance of keeping to the speed limit".

It will include radio advertising and promotional items and will see Gosford Council road and safety officers, and local police officers out and about conducting courtesy speed checks.
