Spikefest now in UK
Readers of the Peninsula News may be interested to know that the London Borough of Lewisham has re-named its yearly comedy festival Spikefest UK, in honour of its former resident.
This idea came from Woy Woy's very own Spikefest held last year.
The difference is that this will be an annual event and will feature all kinds of comedy as well as Spike's.
Hopefully there will be room for lots of Spike inspired lunacy too.
This year will see performances by Dave Gorman (he of the Googlewhack adventures), Rich Hall (AKA Otis Lee Crenshaw), Tim Vine, Felicity Ethnic and many more.
If anyone wishes to go, it is being held in Lewisham, South East London from May 14 to-23.
For more information see http://spikefest.co.uk.
Hope to see you there.
