Students selected for State rugby league championships

Two Ettalong students and one Umina student have been selected to represent Sydney North in the Under-11s rugby league NSWPSSA Championships in June.

They are Rueben Long and Will Heap from Ettalong Public School and Buddy Moore from Umina Beach Public School.

The Sydney North Under-11 and Under-12 Rugby League trials were held at Tuggerah Sports Complex on Wednesday, May 1, in wet and windy conditions.

Students in both age groups from Southern Central Coast formed part of combined zone teams with Tuggerah Lakes and Wallarah zones.

The students will travel to St Mary's for the championships in late June.
