Wednesday, May 17 Hardys Bay residents have banded together to save what they believe is the greatest little club on the Central Coast.

Hardys Bay RSL Club went into voluntary administration on April 12 after a drop in patronage put it into debt.

Ettalong Beach Telstra mobile phone users will have improved GSM coverage following the installation of a new mobile phone base station.

The discovery of asbestos during renovations at Umina campus of Brisbane Water Secondary College shows the need for "eternal vigilance", according to lawyer Judy Horobin.

Ms Horobin has represented 50 Central Coast people seeking compensation for asbestos-related diseases.
