Mariners' vibe manager visits local schools

Central Coast Mariners' "vibe manager" Andy Bernal has visited two Peninsula schools on Tuesday, June 27.

Umina Beach Public School had a visit from the ex-Socceroo player, who brought with him the A-League Championship Trophy.

Students had an opportunity to hear about the Mariners' 6-1 grand final win and to ask him some questions.

All students had a grade photo with the trophy.

"There were plenty of smiles and a lot of cheering," said principal Ms Karen Wardlaw.

He also visited Woy Woy South Public School.

"The school was a sea of yellow and blue in support of one of the Mariners," said principal Mr Matt Barr.

"We asked questions, took photos and touched the trophy.

"The excitement was intense."
