Touch players make NSW Catholic championships

Peninsula Junior Touch players Zane Smith, Keiran Diamond, Sean Bullen, Sam Flakus and Tyrone Dorrell, pictured, were selected to play in the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges touch championships last week.

The championships were played at Nelson Bay on Wednesday.

The boys, all students at St Edward's College, East Gosford, won their way through to the championships, having played with successful teams from the college in the Broken Bay Secondary Schools Sports Association competition.

St Edward's College was champion in the Open Boys section and runner-up in the Under-15 Boys section.

Zane, Keiran and Tyrone were selected to represent Broken Bay in the Open Boys championships, while Sean and Sam were selected to play in the Under-15 Boys championships.
