New mural at Woy Woy South
Woy Woy South Public School has a new mural.
"Our beautiful new wall mural has been completed near the K-2 play equipment," said school principal Mr Matt Barr.
"It was designed to be bright, happy and vibrant - just the way we want our school to be."
Mr Barr said he was thankful for the vision and flexibility of artist Ms Angela Clark.
Ms Clark said she could hardly believe the project was finished.
"The early starts and ladder-legs are all forgotten, and all I feel is grateful and happy - happy that what started as an idea has become something more tangible with so much potential to impact people I will never know.
"What will remain firmly in my mind is the little hearts, and big too, that expressed their joy to me every time they looked at their mural, especially a beautiful young teacher who made a point of telling me that, whenever she saw it, it made her happy too.
"It's little exchanges like that that probably seem minor or inconsequential, but to me are the greatest compliment and assurance that what I do matters.
"If she's happy that's gonna impact her students and colleagues and we're all one step closer to creating that happy place where good things happen."
