Peninsula events for women's festival

Two events will be held on the Peninsula in March as part of the Central Coast Festival of Women.

The Umina Beach branch Country Women's Association will hold "Snowball Afternoon Teas" will be held over two weeks in March.

The second event, Rayon Riot III, will be presented by the Naughty Noodle Fun Haus at Ettalong on Saturday, March 13.

"The festival is held each year, around International Women's Day on March 8," said Central Coast International Women's Day Combined Committee organiser Ms Margaret Heathcote.

It aimed to promote and celebrate the work of Central Coast women's groups, she said.

"Events will be held across the Coast from Woy Woy to Gosford, The Entrance and Wyong."

During the festival, Gosford Regional Community Services will announce the Wonderful Women Awards 2021.
