Visitor restrictions relaxed

Visitor restrictions at a Woy Woy aged care home have been relaxed following advice from NSW Health.

"Residents may now have any number of visitors each day," according to Blue Wave Living chief executive Mr Matt Downie.

He said this was "providing visitors are not from areas of increased testing as advised by NSW Health" or in other exclusion categories.

"All visitors and staff must continue to wear a mask while in BlueWave Living and ensure social distancing is maintained at all times.

"Temperature checks and screening questions for all visitors will be required.

"Visiting hours remain the same at 9am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, and 10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday and public holidays.

"Visits outside of visiting hours can be made in certain circumstances, such as for residents whom are palliating, arranged through our clinical management team."
