Developer seeks to move planned building one metre

A developer is seeking to make amendments to a proposed multi-dwelling housing project in Woy Woy.

Proponents of the 2020 proposal at 192 Blackwall Rd, Woy Woy, lodged a Section 4.55 application with Central Coast Council on January 7, according to Council's DA tracker.

The developer is seeking Council permission, via a Section 4.55 amendment to its DA, to move the rear building one metre to the west.

The original application was to demolish an existing residence on the site and build three two-storey town houses.

A Complying Development Certificate was lodged in October for the residential demolition and site clearing parts of the project.

A deferred commencement was approved by Council staff in November.

A statement submitted to support the original applicaiton said: "Each dwelling would include three bedrooms, with the vehicular access proposed is via driveway to separate garages provided for each dwelling from both Blackwall Road and Burge Street.

"The proposed dwellings provide ground floor private open space areas, internal storage and a space to locate waste collection bins away from the street and clothes drying areas that would be screened from other dwellings and the public domain," the statement said.

The proposal did not comply with the Gosford Development Control Plan 2013 for front, rear or side setbacks but was otherwise largely compliant with it and the Gosford Local Environmental Plan 2014.
