Men's Shed to hold garage sale in former car yard

The Umina Beach Men's Shed will hold its annual garage sale in a former car yard in Woy Woy on Saturday, November 21.

The sale will be held at 17 Charlton St, Woy Woy, from 7:30am.

"Due to the Covid restrictions it was not practical this time to hold it at the lovely CWA Hall in Umina," said Men's Shed secretary Mr Vic Brown.

"Due to the virus restrictions our annual sale will be held outdoors in the fresh air providing adequate social distancing."

Mr Brown said the sale would was aimed at the handyperson and those interested in boating and fishing.

It would include tools for painting, welding, woodturning and a range of both hand tools and power tools.

"As in previous years, this sale presents a really great opportunity for the Peninsula people to pick up a broad range of tools, equipment and gadgets," he said.

"Most of the equipment and items have been donated to our Shed and are surplus to our requirements.

"The equipment and tools are still good to go.

"All the funds raised on the day are returned to the Shed to assist with running expenses," Mr Brown said.
