Christmas Party entries close early

Entries in Brisbane Water Bridge Club's Christmas Party Pairs on Monday, December 7, have already closed.

The games will be held from 9.30 am in the Bridge Clubroom and the Seniors Room at the Woy Woy Community Centre.

Numbers have been limited to 48 in the two rooms under the four square metre rule required by coronavirus regulations.

The club had hoped to book an additional room to accommodate extra numbers but all other rooms were booked.

Members have been invited to use a new online platform to play State Under-100MP Pairs on Sunday, November 29.

The new platform, Realbridge, enables players to see each other and converse through their computer's camera and microphone.

The club will finish the year with a number of red-point events.

"Halloween Pairs" will be played on Monday, November 23.

December Summer Teams single session will be played on Thursday, December 3, with a limit of 10 teams.

Christmas Pairs will be played on Monday, December 7.

December Summer Pairs will be played on Saturday, December 12.

Current limits are up to 20 pairs on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, and up to 12 pairs on Wednesday mornings and Saturday afternoons.

Learner refresher lessons are being held for new players from 9:30am on Tuesdays, with supervised play on Fridays between 10am and 12:30pm.
