Facelift for Wagstaffe Store
Wagstaffe Store has received a facelift.
A "battalion of volunteers" has dressed the Wagstaffe Store in its new heritage colours of regency white, lime white, and Earth UD, according to Wagstaffe-Killcare Community Association president Ms Peta Colebatch.
Significant renovations are taking place inside the store as well.
"We've seen them all at work as we drop in for coffee, but the community would like to express our appreciation for the contribution of the many local residents who gave up their time and their skills to give the old store a new look," she said.
"Keron especially would like to express her heartfelt thanks to: Ms Margaret Berry, Ms Julie Ho, Ms Ruth Stokes, Ms Virginia Henderson, Mr Bob Eddington, Mr Tony Bryant, Mr Les Hindmarsh, Ms Sherril Jeffries, Ms Jan Walker, Ms Sandy Dunton, Ms Janet Rouke, Ms Helen Menzies, Ms Cathy Cross, Mr Ken Tough, Mr Brad Berry, Mr John Flynn, Ms and Mr Gay and Ian Follington and Ms Margo Brennan."
