Social researcher addresses teachers

Social researcher and demographer Mr Mark McCrindle held a lecture for teachers from the Peninsula's public schools, during their staff development day on Monday, July 17.

Mr McCrindle presented information on his findings on Generation Z and Generation Alpha.

He said Generation Z covered those born from 1995 to 2009, while Generation Alpha referred to those born from 2010 to 2025.

All primary school aged students represented one of the two groups making the information highly useful to the staff.

Mr McCrindle explained, among other information, that children attending primary school now are expected to have an average of 17 jobs throughout their lifetime.
