New pool for hydrotherapy

Peninsula Village opened its new hydrotherapy pool to residents of the retirement centre recently.

Retirement centre CEO Ms Terri Parker said the new service was an exciting addition to the Peninsula Village community.

"Peninsula Village is thrilled by the opening of their new hydro-therapy pool," Ms Parker said.

"The new pool is wheelchair friendly, warm and inviting and is being used by a large number of Peninsula and Cooinda Village residents and staff.

"A local arthritis group is also enjoying the new facility on a weekly basis.

"The village physio conducts daily exercise classes with enthusiastic residents giving an alternative form of fun and healthy exercise."
