Easter hat parade

Woy Woy Public School will hold an Easter Hat Parade on Wednesday, April 8, to raise money for the school's World Vision sponsor child.

The hat parade will be held in school grounds from 9.15am to 10.15am and will include the entire school community.

Staff and students are encouraged to create a hat to wear on the day to showcase in the parade.

Event coordinator Ms Simpson said the staff were looking forward to seeing the student's wonderful hat creations on the day.

"We will be collecting a gold coin donation for our World Vision child Chelor Ketleine whom we sponsor each year," Ms Simpson said.

"This will be added to the money that was collected from the Talent Show last year.

"We are also hoping that the Easter Bunny will make a visit on the day."

Normal classes will resume following the event and students will be required to wear school uniforms on the day.
