Easter book fair at Pearl Beach

The annual Pearl Beach Easter Saturday Book Fair will be held at the Pearl Beach Memorial Hall on Saturday, April 11.

"Now in its 33rd year, the carnival atmosphere of the fair provides an ideal environment for book lovers to search among the thousands of titles for that unusual or special book bargain," said organiser Mr Vic Brown.

"Titles include children's, educational, self-help, cooking, gardening, Australia, hobbies/crafts, sport, business, art, travel, health, religion, and novels."

A cafe will operate from the hall with offering morning and afternoon teas and gourmet lunches.

As well as books, there will be collectable items, bric-a-brac, home-baked cakes, native plants from The Crommelin Native Arboretum and exotic plants for sale.

The book fair will be open from 8.30 am to 5pm.

Pearl Beach Memorial Hall is located at 9 Diamond Rd, Pearl Beach.

Proceeds from the fair will go towards the Save Pearl Beach Rock Pool fundraising project.
