Community workshop
Pretty Beach Public School will participate in a Schools First community workshop at Gosford on March 31.
The workshop is designed to encourage and award best practice in school through community partnerships that demonstrate improved outcomes for students.
The Gosford workshop is part of a number of workshops being conducted across regional areas of NSW.
Through the Schools First initiative NSW schools have a chance to share in $5 million annual awards from the National Australia Bank, Australia Cares, Australian Council for Educational Research and Foundation for Young Australians.
The Gosford workshop is designed for schools and community groups to strengthen existing partnerships or establish new partnerships.
The workshops will focus on how schools and community groups can develop or enhance a partnership and also how they can apply for an award.
