Native bee workshops to be held at Woytopia
The Woy Woy Peninsula Community Garden will present two native bee workshops at the Woytopia festival on Sunday, October 13.
They will be presented by native bee specialist Dr Tim Heard and will cover the management and care of native bees.
They start with an hour of theory on the care and maintenance of native bees, followed by a practical demonstration on how to split a native beehive.
These events will have lucky door prizes and are supported by Central Coast Council with financial support from the Protection of the Environment Trust.
The workshops sessions are limited to 40 attendees per session.
Registration will be accepted on the day at the gardening workshop area 15minutes before the start of each session.
