Musical takes audience to outer space and beyond

St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School has held its annual end of year musical extravaganza at St Edward's College, East Gosford, on Tuesday evening, December 3.

St John students took their audience on a journey through outer space and beyond, in a fun-filled night with the whole school community entitled Star Warts: The Umpire Strikes Back.

The action opened with the school's 30-piece concert band.

Music teacher Ms Kerryn Cooper said: "The children's performance was incredible.

"The have been diligently rehearsing all term and indeed The Force was with them as they took the stage.

"I'm so proud of the entire cast, all the students and parents involved.

"I love seeing our young people shining so creatively."
