Companion award for regular research donor
Rotary Club of Woy Woy member Ms Susan Tee has donated "just a few dollars I didn't miss" regularly every month over many years to support medical research at Australian Rotary Health.
Over time the donations have accumulated until recently they passed the $5000 mark.
This qualified Ms Tee, a medical receptionist and a past president of the club, for a Companion of Australian Rotary Health award.
Sue was presented with her award by past district governor Mr Graeme Davies.
"Mr Davies gave an insightful presentation into the broad research undertaken by Australian Rotary Health," said club president Ms Joan Redmond.
"He thanked our club for being an equal funding partner with ARH and UOW and contributing $33,000 to fund a PhD scholarship into dementia care."
