In-house Anzac commemoration

Umina aged care facility held an in-house Anzac Day commemoration on April 25.

"The day is always a sombre yet wonderful way to remember those we've lost and those that continue to fight for Australia," said Peninsula Villages chief executive Mr Shane Neaves.

"Services were held in the main hall and Don Leggett House with our residents joining in on the commemorations.

"Afternoon activities included a two-up game in the hall with a few going home empty handed and Jack Aldous House residents participated in a wonderful poppy display," Mr Neaves said.
