Workshop held for Flash Festival

Preparation for the Flash Festival took place at the Peninsula Theatre on April 7.

Auditions for this year's festival were held in March to allow the program, directors and casts to be finalised in time for the creative development workshop on April 7.

The workshop was led by stage, film and television director Mr Aarne Neeme.

The festival, now in its second year, was facilitated by members of Woy Woy Little Theatre Company.

It aims to provide a platform for new and aspiring local playwrights, actors and directors to be involved in a serious production and gain invaluable experience.

This year's festival will be held at the theatre from July 5 to 7 with eight plays presented in four performances over the weekend.
