Parents and carers supply items for school
Woy Woy Public School's Parents and Carers Group have supplied four new items to the school this term.
"A conveyor belt style toaster has been purchased by the group to help with the production of toast for the Breakfast Club, a service offered to the school community on Monday, Wednesday and Friday," said principal Ms Ona Buckley.
"The Breakfast Club provides some sustenance before a busy day at school.
"Eight loaves of bread with 20 slices per loaf are consumed each morning.
"That's 160 slices of toast.
"It just wouldn't be possible to make this amount of toast without this piece of equipment," Ms Buckley said.
"Our kitchen garden program also got a big boost thanks to the purchase of three stainless steel work benches for food preparation," Ms Buckley said.
