A very small minority
The two parties not much preferred have exposed themselves as representatives of themselves before all else. (Klaas Woldring, June 27).
I am certainly not spending my money arguing for democratising the major parties because that process may leave us with dangerous remnants of the political cancer which has consumed our democratic process.
I hope the rejection of Labor in NSW will flow on to result in the dismantling of Labor at a Federal level.
You are correct Klaas to observe that card-carrying politicians are a very small minority of the population, and I write with an undeserved influence over the way in which we govern ourselves.
