Walking tour at Warrah Trig
The Community Environment Network is offering a free walking tour at Warrah Trig as part of its Investigating and Remediating Coastal Issues in Patonga Project on Thursday, June 30.
The tour of Warrah Trig will take place from 1:30 to 4pm.
The area boasts spectacular wildflowers and views of the Hawkesbury at numerous vantage points.
"Warrah Trig is a trigonometrical survey point located between Pearl Beach and Patonga in Brisbane Water National Park" said project officer Ms Jennifer Dwarte.
"It is rated as an easy walk as it is relatively flat and is short in duration compared to other tracks in Brisbane Water National Park and would therefore be suitable for the young and older participants," she said.
"This tour will be a great opportunity for budding photographers to capture wildflowers in the heath landscape."
